Torngarsuk - The Great Snow Bear.

In the Inuit religion, Torngarsuk (or Torngasak) is a sky god, one of the more important deities in the Inuit pantheon. He is said to be the leader of the Tornat, a group of protective gods.

By some he is considered a mischievous demon/spirit worshiped by offering in Greenland and the northeastern regions of Canada.
Torngarsuk is the master of whales and seals and most powerful supernatural being in Greenland.

Modern legends speak of a gigantic mutant polar bears, deformed by the growth hormones in stocks of fish, after feeding on the farmed salmon, kept by the encroaching human encampments in the northern regions...
These 'monster-bears' have been said to have been driven mad by starvation due to the melting of the ice caps... causing them to move southward, filled with barbarian level, 'beserker' rage destroying everything in their path... even wrapped gifts!
